Columbia

Last bastion of tourism in Latin America, "Locombia" as its inhabitants call it, translating "the mad Colombia" has on our imagination a fascinating blend of attraction and fear. Land of myths most often pests such as emerald, the cocaine cartels and the guerrilla, Colombia is also the legendary El Dorado, which took the name of Christopher Columbus, although it there is never asked the foot.

Here more than elsewhere in the country considered one of the most dangerous in the world, the most elementary prudence and respect for safety procedures are needed. But for those who dare defy prohibitions of popular consciousness and venture onto the highways of Colombia, opens the prospect of living with a rare authenticity.

Columbia is the most culturally diverse continent is a rare kindness. Anxious to give a different image of their country, Colombians are delighted to welcome tourists. Of course, some areas are prohibited entirely, but there is a backpacker in infinitely varied territory to explore, Andean peaks to the Amazon rainforest, through the Pacific or Caribbean beaches color. Not to mention the music, everywhere. Colombia is the trip to the pure state.
